Biography

All-rounded, highly motivated, and truly grounded are just a few words to describe Renee Reid more popularly known as RRe (Pronounced REE).

This sultry artist has grown to appreciate R&B, Souls and Pop music from her musical icon, Beyonce.   

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, RRe was exposed to music at a tender age through her love for dance. She has performed on several major stages to dance routines with Ballet, Modern to African, Dancehall and Pop music. RRe has also cemented herself as a principal dancer for the popularly known Dance Theatre Xaymaca (DTX) based in Jamaica and now as a recording artist with an international flavor.  

Balancing her job as the KEY Account Manager for a major Telecommunications Company in Kingston, Jamaica with music has never been an easy job for RRe nevertheless she has made  a name for herself in the Music Industry. In many ways it is evident that RRe encounters and exhibits the traits of determination and drive, to accomplish her dreams as an International super star.

 RRe’s music and fashion sense is one of class and sex appeal tastefully molded together.

Her business persona has also aided her to fully develop her brand ‘Rre-Ality Look’ and ‘Rre-Ality Wear’ which comprises of A Grade mink lashes and Beauty products under her very own brand as well as several fashion merchandize along with her music.  Her vision is to build a world wide brand not just from her music but also from her Rre-Ality Brands.

RRe has made her mark by touring many countries such as the United States, Suriname, Cuba, French Guyana, Bahamas as well as Trinidad and Tobago, to name a few. From opening up for major headline shows for the infamous MVP clan (Mavado, Alkaline & Jahmiel). RRe has also made several appearances in Jamaica in particular on Reggae Sumfest International Night II where she closed for the Digicel Stage to being her a highlighted performer for Sumfest Dancehall Night.  During her journey she has shared stages and made multiple video appearances with other musical colleges such as Wayne Marshall, Elephant Man, Patra, Jah Cure and Voicemail among others.  Her musical journey also included collaborations with the reggae dancehall sensation Sizzla Kolanji; Ghanaian Super star Stonebwoy, Germany’ s favourite Maldonado, Bay C of T.O.K.; upcoming artists Javada; most importantly We The Best Superstar international recording artist Mavado. These collaborative efforts came through her affiliations with some of Jamaica’s top producers such as Anju Blaxx of UIM Records; Comar Campbell of  Frankie Music; First Capital Records, South Trade Records from Germany, Kamal Evans, Dre Day Productions; Christopher Birch and Kirk Shines of All Faces Entertainment to name a few.

While building her brand and reaching foe greatness Rre has dedicated time and effort in helping the less fortunate through give back sessions and motivational inspiration to the younger generation.

RRe is the replica of success, pride and drive. It is her intention through her humbled persona to make the right decisions in line with her musical goals and accomplishments.
